The course program of Property Management Courses is based on the professional standard “Property Assistant” of the European classifier of professions ESCO (European Skills, Competences, Qualifications and Occupations)

Teaching methodology

The training consists of lectures that are held online in ZOOM. For the demonstration of the practical work are used video materials.

Educational materials. Property Management Courses

Each student receives learning materials in PDF Format. The student receives the learning materials after paying for the tuition and crediting the payment to the current account of the education centre. After receiving the payment, the education centre provides the student with access to the personal account. The student’s learning materials are located in the personal account. Video materials are sent in the appropriate video format. The cost of training materials is included in the course price.

Description of the learning environment

Training is conducted online via ZOOM.

Conditions of graduation

The course is considered as completed, after the student has passed all the subjects prescribed in the curriculum, in the amount provided by the curriculum. The exam is conducted in the form of an examination test according to the course program. The exam is counted as passed if the student has completed at least 60% of all tasks of the test. At the end of the course, the student receives a certificate of completion or certificate of attendance of the course.

Documents the student receives

A certificate of completion of the course is issued if the student has attended at least 70% of the classes, completed at least 70% of the homework and independent work and/or passed the course exam. If a student attended less than 70% of classes, completed less than 70% of homework and/or did not pass the course exam, then upon completion of the course he will be issued a certificate of attendance of the course.

The certificate of completion of the course contains the student’s personal data and school data, learning outcomes (knowledge and practical skills that the student has acquired as a result of the training), the scope of the curriculum, the period of study, a list of teachers.

The certificate of attendance of the course contains the student’s personal data, school data, the number of academic hours of study attended by the student, the period of study, a list of teachers.

Both certificates are issued in English.

A person who has completed the course of property managers carries out their activities in the interests of real estate owners. Plans and organizes works related to the operation of the property, is guided by the requirements of European standards. Ensures the safe operation of the property. Controls the costs associated with operation and draws up reports for the owners. Draws up and monitors the execution of contracts. Acts as an intermediary in the organization of consumer services for users. Organizes and carries out contact between the owners and users of the property.

Property manager courses are designed for persons with at least secondary education or secondary vocational education, who wish to gain the knowledge necessary to work as a property manager and start training from scratch:

  • persons with educational construction specialties who wish to gain new knowledge in the field of real estate management or take advanced training courses;
  • persons with many years of experience in the field of real estate operation who wish to gain the knowledge necessary to work as a property manager.

A graduate of the property management courses has the following knowledge and skills:

  • draws up a service plan for the property;
  • analyzes the indicators related to the operation of the property and compiles reports for the owners;
  • participates in the preparation of instructions for the operation of communications and real estate;
  • knows the European standards governing the field of activity;
  • supervises the work of various operational services and contractors;
  • controls the income and expenses associated with the operation of the facility;
  • organizes household services for real estate users;
  • collects information from real estate users in order to improve the quality of services provided;
  • organizes and controls current repairs;
  • organizes tenders for the provision of services;
  • concludes contracts, if there is a power of attorney;
  • promptly eliminates the causes and consequences of accidents;
  • acts as a mediator in disputes between owners and users of the real estate.

1. Real Estate Management Strategy (20 acad. hours)

1.1. Drawing up a maintenance plan for the property
1.2. Preparation of instructions for the operation of communications and real estate.
1.3. Preparation, processing and grouping of data collected through the analysis of the maintenance schedule.
1.4. Preparation of an analysis of the condition of the object in accordance with the contract with the customer

2. Organization of maintenance of real estate object (48 acad. hours)

2.1. Powers of the owner. Acceptance / transfer of powers from the owner to the manager of the real estate object. Performance of the functions of the owner
2.2. Checking the technical condition of the property and its parts.
2.3. List of mandatory documentation on the property.
2.4. Calculation of the cost of maintenance of the property and the cost of measures for the maintenance of the object, based on the characteristics of the object and the purpose of use.
2.5. Measures for the maintenance of the real estate object. Development of a strategy for the operation of the real estate object. Planning and organization of auxiliary services on the property.
2.6. Organization of tenders for the provision of services. Conclusion of contracts. Keeping records of the register of contracts.
2.7. Organization of control over the activities for the maintenance of the real estate object. Terms of contracts. Work tasks.
2.8. Contracts for the use of premises
2.9. On-site maintenance: The concept of routine repairs. Organization, control, and management of current repairs
2.10. Safety requirements. Development and publication of rules for the operation of the facility. Development of rules for safe operation. Verification of the availability of documents necessary to ensure safety at the facility. Control and responsibility for compliance with safety requirements. Elimination of defects. 2.11. Preparation of reports for monitoring services

3. Operational maintenance of real estate (44 acad. hours)

3.1. Regular inspection of the condition of the object and its parts on the property. Quality control of services of companies performing repair work. Informing the owner of the object about the detected problems.
3.2. Execution of documentation on the object.
3.3. Mediation in the provision of household services on the property. Contracts with providers of household services to ensure the desired conditions of users of the property.
3.4. Liquidation of accidents of the property within the terms arising from the contract.
3.5. Compilation of an analysis of the cost of consumer services of the object in comparison with the previous period (month, year) and identification of the causes of differences. If necessary, consults with specialists and makes suggestions for improving the situation, based on the needs of users.
3.6. Collection of data (surveys, observations, inspections, examinations) to assess the technical condition of the object. Organization of user surveys on the quality of the service provided.
3.7. Preparation of reports for the owner of the property. Development of regular and one-time reports for owners and users of the property (depending on the features of operation) on the current state of the object.
3.8. Cost control, compares the actual results with the economic plan, assesses the situation and, if necessary, makes proposals for adjusting the economic plan.
3.9. Verification of the performance of warranty and preventive works of communications and constituent parts of the real estate object
3.10. Mediation in negotiations between the owners and users of the property in case of disagreement.
