The trainee has the following knowledge and skills:
- has the necessary knowledge and skills to care for a person in need on the basis of an appropriate plan (e.g. rehabilitation plan, care plan, etc.);
- provides qualified support and assistance to the ward in organizing a decent life and achieving the highest possible quality of life;
- assists the ward in the realization of physical, social and psychological needs;
- knows the age characteristics and works with people of different ages and cultural backgrounds who, due to their life situation or for other reasons, need help and care;
- knows the basics of legislation governing human rights;
- knows the basics of professional ethics;
