1. Organization of work in the registry and reception of the veterinary clinic (36 acad. hours)

1.1. Animal identification. Creating a Primary History
1.2. Communication with the client. Good Veterinary Practice Rules. Basic First Aid.
1.3. Rules for elementary fixation of an animal, considering the requirements of labor protection.
1.4. Arrangement of inpatient treatment
1.5. Advising a client on home care. Advising on the maintenance, feeding, behavior, training, and health of animals
1.6. Provision of the veterinary clinic with the necessary medicines and goods. Control of stocks of medicines, expiration dates, storage conditions. Client consulting
1.7. Condition monitoring and maintenance of equipment and practice rooms

2. Assisting at the reception and performing diagnostic procedures (40 acad. hours)

2.1. Collection of analytical material, labeling and storage
2.2. Preparation for shipment and shipment of analytical material in accordance with the instructions of the veterinarian
2.3. X-rays
2.4. Diagnostic procedures. Assisting in diagnostic procedures as directed by the veterinarian

3. Animal care (44 acad. hours)

3.1. Preparation of a place in a hospital. Monitoring the general condition of the patient
3.2. Filling out a medical history and treatment sheets as directed by the veterinarian
3.3. Feeding animals, walking animals in accordance with the instructions of the veterinarian, considering the basics of feeding, behavior, and maintenance of animals
3.4. Cleaning, washing and other care of animals in the hospital
3.5. General Animal Care Procedures
3.6. Preparation and processing of reusable replacement materials in accordance with the requirements for infectious diseases and their prevention
3.7. Labeling of cattle, sheep, goats, and pigs in accordance with current legislation

4. Assistance during medical procedures under the guidance of a veterinarian (32 acad. hours)

4.1. Administering prescribed medications to the animal as instructed by the veterinarian
4.2. Assistance in medical and physiotherapy procedures, including wound care

5. Preparation for surgical operations, assistance and control of anesthesia (48 acad. hours)

5.1. Preparing the operating room for surgery
5.2. Surgical instruments. Preparation of surgical instruments
5.3. Checking the working condition of equipment and tools
5.4. Preparation of the animal for surgery, in accordance with the instructions of the veterinarian
5.5. Assisting the veterinarian in carrying out procedures
5.6. Monitoring and recording the condition of the animal after surgery
5.7. Labor safety rules in the veterinary clinic and hospital
5.8. Ensuring animal safety
